The MacMillans of Murlaggan, Loch Arkaig

After Inverlochy, in 1431,the MacKintoshes (Clan Chattan) gave Murlaggan, Loch Arkaig to the MacMillan tribe.  They and their offspring held lands on both sides of the loch at the western end in lieu of sword-service to the chiefs of Clan Chattan.
